Audiences are entertained, while learning that hula is a sacred art of the Hawaiian people and story-telling and poetry expressed through dance, as well fun and enjoyable cultural entertainment.
Kawika Sanitago has been with Kahana Hula since 2009. His talent on the drums brings the heartbeat of Aloha to the show. As a percussive drummer since childhood, he was drawn to playing Tahitian drums and the Hawaiian ipu gourd, which elevate the authenticity and energy of the show! Kawika also demonstrates a variety of Polynesian dance styles performed by men.
Last, but certainly not least, Tom "T-Bone" Stankus is a well-known singer, musician and entertainer in New England, performing his own solo-shows for thousands of audiences for over 20 years.
