Trained in Yoga4Cancer and Yoga For Arthritis methodologies, Tiare teaches a gentle class of mindfulness meditation, modified yoga postures for limited range of movement, and restorative yoga poses which are designed to build strength and flexibility, boost your immune system, and cultivate a sense of well-being. Feel nurtured, safe, and empowered, knowing that you are taking care of YOU. Beginners and all levels welcome. Students may practice seated on a chair or on a mat.
Each yoga mat becomes a private island where students escape the outside world for inner exploration and awareness of the paradise within. Applying ancient wisdom and philosophies of Hawaii and India, students learn how basic hula movements and mindfulness connect us with the elements of nature. All levels welcome. Students may practice seated on a chair or on a mat.
Classic yoga postures are modified and practiced seated on a chair, for those with limited range of motion, healing from injury, or have difficulty sitting on the floor. This class is suitable and beneficial for all ages, as students are able to practice a variety of postures on a daily basis: sitting at their desk, being mindful of posture alignment while driving, and being able to relieve muscle tension, anyhwere, at any time!
